Songs and dances of the eclipse
The British Eclipse ensemble brings 17th century Spain to life. After lengthly musicological studies, the ensemble plays the authentic instruments of the era with the specific style that was used back in the day, and performs traditional Spanish dances and tunes such as Sephardic songs, rain dance, tarantella, chaconne, peradetas, gallardas and achas. The performance will be held at the Mersin Civic Centre on May 29th.
